Your donation will provide sustainable support to Leadership, Wellbeing and Service initiatives that benefit caregivers, especially those who served abused and neglected children in our community.
Care For the Caregivers
WHAT :
We curate and are hosting monthly wellbeing workshops in partnership with CASA of the Ninth. We also organize and lead day-long wellbeing retreats in the Aspen Valley for caregivers of all sorts and we provide scholarships to our destination-based weeklong retreats. We know that many of our best, brightest, and most important caregivers, are facing burnout and secondary trauma. We offer care directly to the caregivers.
WHO :
We believe that love is a choice, and that when we choose to care for the people who care for others, we create a ripple of healing that reaches far beyond any single act of love. Caregivers in our culture are consistently underpaid and overworked for essential positions such as caring for children who are entering foster care or children who are neglected and abused. It is essential that we start to celebrate a culture of service and help to support the people who are supporting others in the mental health arena, child welfare, animal welfare and environment. It is our great honor and privilege to help care for caregivers and offer extraordinary healing and nurturing opportunities for all people and especially those serving children in need.
