Your instructor for both series
Alejandra Rico Bustillos
Born and raised in Chihuahua City, Mexico, Alejandra earned a Law Degree summa cum laude before moving to the Roaring Fork Valley and finding her true path in education. In 2007 she found in yoga a profound way to heal, and has cultivated the practice ever since.
Trained in Hatha and Kundalini, she began teaching in 2009 at True Nature Healing Arts in Carbondale, later taught in Chihuahua, and added Yin and Restorative practice after becoming a mother in 2018. She has been a KDNK radio DJ since 2008, is a board member for Alpine Legal Services, and has taught the Spanish-language yoga program with Stepping Stones since 2021.
Alejandra has partnered with ACES and Lead With Love on the summer outdoor series since 2023, teaching Yoga Silvestre at Rock Bottom Ranch, and began teaching at Hallam Lake in June 2025. Her classes weave sixteen years of practice into a flow of Hatha with a touch of Kundalini, closing with the restorative power of still poses.

Here, you are invited to soften into stillness, turn inward, and allow this time to be a gift back to your own heart. As you listen to the quiet wisdom within, the sacred rhythm of your inner and outer worlds begins to realign, helping you remember who you truly are and allowing your spirit to rest, open, and rise.
